South African buttermilk rusk – Homemade Rusks

Ingredients:

  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) vinegar

  • 375 ml (1½ cups) milk

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 250 g (½ block) butter, melted

  • 1 kg (8 cups) self-raising flour

  • 250 ml (1 cup) sugar

  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt
