Almond Delight Tart 

🍊 Ingredients:

For the shortcrust pastry:

  • 300 g all-purpose flour (type 00)

  • 150 g almond flour

  • 140 g butter

  • 150 g sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • Grated zest of 1 orange or lemon

For the almond paste (pasta reale):

  • 2 egg whites

  • 150 g almond flour

  • 150 g sugar

To finish:

  • 300 g orange or apricot jam + 3–4 extra tablespoons for glazing

  • 1–2 tablespoons water
