Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk (395 g)
- 200 g margarine (or butter), at room temperature
- 500 g cornstarch (known as Maizena)
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix the condensed milk with the margarine until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add the cornstarch, kneading with your hands until you form a soft dough that doesn’t stick.
Once ready, shape the dough into small balls and gently flatten them, or form rings like in the photo.
Place them on an ungreased baking tray (they won’t stick).
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10–15 minutes, until firm but not overly browned.
Let them cool before handling, as they are very fragile straight out of the oven and firm up as they cool.
