Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into smaller pieces for easier blending.

In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries, sliced bananas, yogurt, milk or dairy-free alternative, and honey or maple syrup (if using).

Add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.

Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with a sliced strawberry or banana if desired.
