Storm Cake with Sour Cherries – Ridiculously delicious!

Ingredients:

For the cake batter:

  • 5 eggs

  • 100 g butter or margarine

  • 300 g sugar

  • 125 g flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

For the filling:

  • 1 jar sour cherries (drained)

  • 4 tubs sour cream (Schmand) (or 2 tubs Schmand + 500 g yogurt)

  • 2 packets vanilla pudding mix (e.g., Paradiescreme Vanilla)

  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

  • 1 packet whipped cream stabilizer (Sahnesteif)

  • 2 tubs heavy cream
