Homemade Ways to Use Senna Alata
1. Fresh Leaf Paste for Skin Problems
- Pick a few fresh Senna alata leaves.
- Wash them well and crush or blend them into a thick paste.
- Apply directly to the affected area (like ringworm, rashes, or acne).
- Leave for about 15–20 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
- Repeat twice a day until the skin heals.
2. Senna Alata Herbal Bath for Itchy Skin or Eczema
- Boil a handful of fresh or dried leaves in about 2 liters of water for 10–15 minutes.
- Let it cool until warm.
- Use this water to rinse your body or soak the affected area.
- It can be done daily until the skin improves.
3. Senna Alata Tea for Internal Detox
- Take 5–6 fresh leaves or 1 tablespoon of dried leaves.
- Boil in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes.
- Strain and let it cool slightly before drinking.
- Drink half a cup once a day for 3–5 days only.

- Warm some fresh leaves over low heat (you can steam them or dip briefly in hot water).
- Place the warm leaves directly on the affected area.
- Cover with a clean cloth and leave for 15–20 minutes.
- Helps reduce swelling and pain naturally.
7. Senna Alata Ointment (for storage use)
- Dry a few handfuls of leaves completely and crush them into fine powder.
- Mix the powder with coconut oil or shea butter.
- Store in a small jar and apply to fungal infections, rashes, or insect bites as needed.
