Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 170°C fan forced.
2. Grease a baking dish lightly.
3. In a bowl combine self raising flour, cocoa powder, and caster sugar.
4. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
5. Mix until smooth.
6. Spread batter evenly into prepared dish.
7. In a small bowl mix brown sugar and cocoa powder.
8. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
9. Carefully pour boiling water over the back of a spoon onto the mixture. Do not stir.
10. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the top is set but sauce remains underneath.
To serve:
Serve warm with thickened cream, custard, or vanilla ice cream. Perfect for a rich and comforting dessert
