Recipe Tips
Larger sausage balls are 2 tablespoons of meat mixture. In this case, you’ll get 12 juicy sausage balls.
Mini sausage balls are 1 tablespoon of meat mixture, in which case you’ll have 24 smaller sausage cheeseballs (perfect to serve with a toothpick!).
Place the sausage balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Don’t have parchment paper? You can use a non-stick cooking spray instead.
Dips
Serve them warm with dips like:
- Ranch dressing
- Chive and onion sour cream
- Honey mustard
- Ketchup
Breakfast Options
If you’re making them for breakfast, these tasty and hearty protein bites are wonderful alongside pancakes or biscuits with maple syrup sauce to dip.
