Recipe Tin Project: Ann Roger’s Christmas Cookies

Preparation

  1. Cream together butter and powdered sugar, then mix in egg and vanilla thoroughly.
  2. On low, mix in flour, chopped nuts, and candied cherries until just combined.
  3. Roll dough into two logs, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for 1 hour.
  4. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 325°F.
  5. Slice dough into rounds about 1/4-inch thick, place on a baking sheet, and bake until edges have set and cookies are just barely golden, 13-15 minutes. Enjoy!
