Quick Curd Cake with Cherries – I Bake It Every Week, Only 5 Minutes to Prepare!

Ingredients (for a 25×30 cm baking tray):

  • 3 eggs

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

  • ½ cup oil

  • 1 cup plain yogurt or kefir

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 250 g semi-fat twaróg (Polish curd cheese – can be from a tub, but it should be thick)

  • approx. 400 g pitted cherries (fresh or frozen, well drained)

  • powdered sugar for dusting
