3. How to Start
- 
Take a handful of raw (unsalted, unroasted) pistachios. 
- 
Remove the hard shells and place the nuts in a glass of water. 
- 
Let them soak overnight in a completely dark place. 
4. Prepare for Germination
- 
The next morning, place the soaked pistachios on a dry paper towel. 
- 
Cover them with another moist paper towel. 
- 
Maintaining good humidity is key to successful germination. 
5. Wait and Plant
- 
After about 10 days, as long as the paper towel stays moist, you’ll notice small sprouts starting to form. 
- 
Now you can plant the seeds in a pot. Choose a deep pot so the roots have room to grow. 
6. Planting Instructions
- 
Fill the pot with soil. 
- 
Make small holes and place the sprouted pistachios inside. 
- 
Make sure the soil does not completely cover the sprouted seeds. 
7. Care and Maintenance
- 
Water the plant and place the pot in a sunny spot. 
- 
Water regularly, but avoid waterlogging. 
With some time and attention, you’ll soon be rewarded with a small but beautiful pistachio tree—right in your own home!
