Sweet Dinner Rolls
Introduction
Simple, soft, and sweet—these dinner rolls are the perfect companion for soups, salads, or dinner plates. They’re lightly sweetened, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ tsp salt
Instructions (Method)
- Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Rest 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add egg, butter, flour, and salt. Knead until soft and smooth.
- Cover and rise 1 hour until doubled.
- Shape into 12–15 rolls and place in a greased pan.
- Rise again 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes.
- Brush warm rolls with melted butter.
