Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
Dough
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ tsp salt
Filling
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ¼ cup softened butter
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Chocolate Glaze
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions (Method)
- Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar; rest 5–10 min until foamy.
- Add eggs, butter, flour, cocoa, and salt. Knead until soft.
- Cover and rise 1 hour.
- Roll dough, spread butter, sprinkle filling, add chocolate chips.
- Roll, slice, and place in a greased pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 22–25 minutes.
- Mix glaze and spread over warm rolls.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate for extra indulgence.
