“Goddess” Pie: I wanted to share it with my neighbor — but we ended up eating the whole thing ourselves.

The best cherry pie that drives the whole family crazy! It’s super easy to make! This delicious pie combines the freshness of cherries with the airy lightness of a delicate soufflé cream.

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 2 egg yolks

  • A pinch of salt

  • 30 g sugar

  • 250 g flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 90 g butter

Cherry layer:

  • ~300 g cherries

  • 30 g sugar

  • 30 g starch (e.g., cornstarch)

Cream:

  • 2 egg whites

  • 30 g sugar

  • 400 g natural yogurt (or sour cream)
