Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix lukewarm milk, water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add flour and salt. Mix and knead into a smooth dough.
3. Add 1 tbsp butter and knead again for 8–10 minutes until soft and elastic.
4. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled.
5. Punch down the dough and roll it thin.
6. Cut into long thin sticks (important for this style 👈).
7. Place on a baking tray and rest for 15 minutes.
8. Melt remaining butter and mix garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
9. Brush generously over the sticks.
10. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–18 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
11. Brush again with garlic butter and serve hot
