Preparation 👩🍳
1. Melt the chocolate
Melt the chocolate together with 1 cup of heavy cream using a double boiler or in the microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth and fully combined. Let it cool completely.
2. Blend the cream
In a blender, add the condensed milk, the cooled chocolate mixture, the remaining cup of heavy cream, and the vanilla extract. Blend for about 2 minutes until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
3. Assemble the carlota
In a dish or baking dish, place a layer of cookies, then spread a layer of chocolate cream on top.
Repeat the layers until you finish with a layer of cream on top.
4. Refrigerate
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
5. Decorate
Before serving, decorate with milk chocolate shavings.
