Blueberry-Bourbon Festive Meatballs

Sweet, tangy, and smoky—these holiday meatballs burst with flavor and make the PERFECT party appetizer!

Ingredients:

Meatballs:
 1 ½ lbs ground beef (or half beef/half pork)
 1 egg
 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
 1/4 cup finely diced onion
 1 tsp garlic powder
 1 tsp salt
 1/2 tsp black pepper
 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 Blueberry-Bourbon Sauce:*
 1 1/2 cups blueberry preserves or jam
 1/3 cup bourbon
 1/3 cup ketchup
 2 tbsp soy sauce
 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
 Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat
