Black Forest Mushroom Sauce – The Best in Just 15 Minutes!

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 250 g mushrooms (e.g. white mushrooms or a mix of wild mushrooms)

  • 1 onion

  • 100 g smoked bacon (diced)

  • 200 ml heavy cream (30%)

  • 100 ml vegetable broth or water

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 teaspoon flour (optional, for thickening)

  • Salt, pepper, herbes de Provence

  • Fresh parsley for garnish
