Apple jam is quick and easy to make.
To make six jars of 200 ml each, you’ll need 1.5 kg of apples. Tart varieties like Boskoop, Elstar, or Jonagold work best. Cinnamon gives the jam a special aroma.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg apples

  • 500–700 g gelling sugar (2:1 or 3:1, depending on desired sweetness)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Optional: 1 tsp cinnamon or 2–3 cloves
