Lemon Butter Cream Cheese Pound Cake

 

Ingredients:

– 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
– 8 oz (226 g) cream cheese, softened
– 2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
– 4 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 tablespoon lemon zest (from about 1 lemon)
– 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice
– 3 cups (360 g) all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Lemon Glaze:

– 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
– 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon lemon zest
