Ingredients:
For the Crunch Base:
· 4 cups crisp rice cereal (Rice Krispies)
· 10 oz marshmallows (about 40 large marshmallows or 5 cups mini)
· 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
· ¼ teaspoon salt
For the Caramel Layer:
· 11 oz soft caramels, unwrapped (about 50 individual caramels)
· ¼ cup heavy cream
· ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt (plus more for finishing)
For the Chocolate Layer:
· 12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
· 2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for shine and snap)
For the Finish:
· 1-2 teaspoons flaky sea salt (Maldon, Jacobsen, or similar)
