Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 1 ½ cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract (optional but recommended)
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped (or well-drained canned peaches)
- 1 tbsp flour (to coat peaches)
For the Glaze (optional):
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk or cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
