In a separate bowl, add all the remaining ingredients, including the egg yolks, and mix until smooth.

Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the mixture.

Pour the quark mixture into a greased baking pan that’s been dusted with breadcrumbs.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 50 to 60 minutes — do not open the oven door during baking.

Once done, let the cake cool completely inside the oven.

Only remove the cake from the pan once it is fully cooled.
