👩🍳 Instructions:

Activate the yeast:
In a bowl, pour the milk and add sugar and dry yeast. Stir to combine. -
Mix the wet ingredients:
Add 1 egg and vegetable oil. Mix again. -
Add the dry ingredients:
Sift in the flour and add the salt. Knead the dough. -
Knead and rest:
Add a little more oil if needed and knead until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and a towel. Let rise for 40 minutes. -
Shape the dough:
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape into balls. -
Butter and stack:
Roll each ball into a flat round disc. Spread each disc with softened butter, then stack them on top of each other. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes. -
Roll and cut:
After chilling, roll out the stacked discs into one large sheet. Cut into 16 triangles. -
Fill and shape:
Place a little jam at the wide end of each triangle and roll them up into crescent shapes. -
Bake:
Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with a beaten egg.
Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 10 minutes, or until golden.
