You’ll Want to Bake It Again and Again – Apple Cake with Vanilla Pudding in Just 10 Minutes!

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:
    Preheat your oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Grease a springform pan (approx. 26 cm / 10-inch diameter) well.

  2. Make the batter:
    In a large bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar using a hand mixer or whisk. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Combine the flour and baking powder, sift them into the bowl. Add a small pinch of salt and 160 ml of milk. Mix everything into a smooth batter.

  3. Prepare the vanilla pudding:
    In a small bowl, mix the vanilla pudding powder with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 4 tablespoons of cold milk until smooth. Heat the remaining milk in a small saucepan. Once it starts to boil, stir in the pudding mixture and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Let the pudding cool slightly.

  4. Prepare the apples:
    Peel, core, and slice the apples thinly.

  5. Assemble the cake:
    Pour the batter into the greased springform pan and spread it evenly. Then, spread the vanilla pudding over the batter. Arrange the apple slices nicely on top of the pudding.

  6. Bake:
    Bake the cake for 35–40 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  7. Cool and serve:
    Let the cake cool in the pan. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream.
