Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death. More people die from this disease than from colon, breast, and pancreatic cancers combined.
About 75% to 80% of lung cancer cases are non-small cell lung cancer. A study published in the journal “PubMed” shows that parsley can be used as a remedy for this devastating disease, thanks to its compound apigenin, which has the ability to kill up to 86% of cancer cells.
In addition to parsley, other foods are also rich in apigenin, including celery, onions, oranges, oregano, coriander, chamomile tea, red wine, and artichokes.
However, parsley contains the highest concentration of apigenin and is therefore the most recommended in the fight against cancer.
