Mix ingredients
In a large bowl, combine cream, powdered sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
Whip
Beat with an electric mixer, starting low then moving to medium-high, until stiff peaks form (3–5 minutes). Avoid over-whipping.
Frost
Use immediately to frost cakes, cupcakes, or cookies.
Store
If not using right away, refrigerate up to 1 day. Re-whip gently before using.
