· ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
· 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Cookie Dough
· 2 ½ cups (312g) all-purpose flour
· 1 teaspoon baking soda
· ½ teaspoon salt
· ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
· ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
· ½ cup (110g) light brown sugar, packed
· 1 large egg
· 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
· 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Caramel & Assembly
· 24-36 soft caramel candies (like Kraft Caramels), unwrapped
· 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
· Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)
