Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

  2. Add the oil, milk, and a pinch of salt, continuing to mix.

  3. Add the sifted flour with the baking powder and the lemon zest. Mix well until you get a smooth, lump-free batter.

  4. Pour the batter into a 20 cm (8-inch) cake pan that has been greased and floured.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes (do the toothpick test).

  6. Let the cake cool before serving.
