SWEET AND SOUR PORK RIBS

INGREDIENTS

300 g pork ribs (cut into small pieces)

For blanching:

  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onion

  • 1 slice of ginger

  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine

  • ¼ cup oil

  • 2–3 tablespoons rock sugar (adjust to taste)

For the sauce:

  • 300 ml hot water

  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onion

  • 3 slices of ginger

  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 2 tablespoons black vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon black vinegar (add to taste)

  • A pinch of white sesame seeds for garnish
