Super Quick Apple Rolls with 4 Apples – So Delicious I Bake Them Twice a Week

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions:

It’s so quick and easy:

  1. Prepare the yeast dough:
Take about a teaspoon of the sugar and dissolve it with the yeast in lukewarm milk.

  2. Mix the dough:
Beat the butter with the remaining sugar and salt. Add the egg and stir in the yogurt.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually knead it into the mixture, alternating with the milk-yeast mixture.

  3. Knead:
Knead the dough by hand until smooth and elastic. Let it rest in a covered bowl in a warm place for about 50 minutes.

  4. Prepare the apples:
Wash, peel, core, and dice the apples into small cubes.

  5. Roll out the dough:
On a floured surface, roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Preheat your oven to 200Β°C (top/bottom heat).

  6. Add the filling:
Melt the butter and brush it over the dough (save some for later).
Distribute the apple cubes evenly and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.

  7. Form the rolls:
Roll the dough up tightly lengthwise and cut into slices about 3 cm thick.

  8. Bake:
Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, then let cool completely.

  9. Optional decoration:
While still warm, brush with remaining butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar for that heavenly finish.

Enjoy your meal! 🍎
