Stuffed Zucchini with Ham and Mozzarella: A Tasty Appetizer!

Instructions:

  1. Wash the zucchini and hollow them out, setting aside the pulp.

  2. Blanch the zucchini in boiling water for 15–20 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, sauté the zucchini pulp in a pan with chopped garlic, a pinch of salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.

  4. Once sautéed, blend the pulp in a mixer until finely chopped.

  5. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, grated Grana cheese, and 3/4 of the ham (chopped) to the zucchini mixture, and mix until smooth.

  6. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes.

  7. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the zucchini on it.

  8. Fill the zucchini with the prepared mixture, then top with the remaining ham and mozzarella cubes.

  9. Drizzle a little olive oil over the stuffed zucchini.

  10. Bake in a fan-assisted oven at 170°C (340°F) for about 15 minutes.
