Preparation
- Dump the cut strawberries, sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a crockpot.
- Turn the crockpot on high and cover. Let the strawberries cook for 2 hours. Stirring a few times.
- Turn off the crockpot and let the strawberries cool.
- Store in a mason jar, label with tape, and store in the fridge for 2 weeks. You can also freeze this to make great popsicles or smoothies!
