Instructions
Step 1 — Prepare the ribs
- Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Step 2 — Make the BBQ sauce mix
- In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, beef broth, and brown sugar.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce becomes smooth.
Step 3 — Slow cook the ribs
- Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, making sure they are fully coated.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.
Step 4 — Finish with a glaze
- Optional: For extra caramelized flavor, broil the ribs for 3–5 minutes after slow cooking.
- Brush extra BBQ sauce on top and broil until the edges get sticky and charred.
