Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs

🧑‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1 — Prepare the ribs

  1. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
  2. Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

Step 2 — Make the BBQ sauce mix

  1. In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, beef broth, and brown sugar.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce becomes smooth.

Step 3 — Slow cook the ribs

  1. Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, making sure they are fully coated.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.

Step 4 — Finish with a glaze

  1. Optional: For extra caramelized flavor, broil the ribs for 3–5 minutes after slow cooking.
  2. Brush extra BBQ sauce on top and broil until the edges get sticky and charred.
