Instructions:
Toss apple slices with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a small amount of brown sugar, then place them in the slow cooker
In a bowl, combine oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, salt, and melted butter until crumbly
Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples
Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or on LOW for 5–6 hours, until the apples are tender and the topping is golden and crisp
Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
