Simple Italian Cake with 12 Tablespoons

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).

  2. In a mixing bowl, crack the 3 eggs.

  3. Add 12 tablespoons of sugar to the eggs.

  4. Mix the eggs and sugar until well combined and creamy.

  5. Pour in 12 tablespoons of oil and mix it into the egg and sugar mixture.

  6. Add 12 tablespoons of milk and continue mixing.

  7. Gradually sift in 12 tablespoons of flour, stirring to prevent lumps.

  8. Zest and juice half a lemon and add it to the batter for a nice citrus flavor.

  9. Finally, add 11 grams of baking powder and mix well.

  10. Grease a 20 cm (8 inch) cake pan and pour the batter into it.

  11. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  12. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.

  13. Optionally, sprinkle powdered sugar on top or add a lemon glaze for extra flavor.

  14. Slice and enjoy your simple and delicious Italian cake made with 12 tablespoons!
