Sheet Pan Pizza (Pizza in Teglia) A quick and tasty dough for delicious homemade pizza baked in the oven.

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, mix the fresh yeast with the sugar.

  2. Dissolve the yeast mixture in the warm water, then add the salt and olive oil.

  3. Sift the flour into a large mixing bowl and gradually add the liquid ingredients.

  4. Knead until you form a smooth dough ball. Cover and let it rise for 2–3 hours, or until doubled in size.

  5. Once risen, stretch the dough out into a lightly oiled baking tray.

  6. Top with tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella.

  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (480°F) for about 15 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
