Ingredients
For the Meatballs:
· 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for optimal juiciness)
· ½ lb ground pork
· ½ cup breadcrumbs (Panko or traditional)
· ⅓ cup whole milk
· 1 large egg, lightly beaten
· ¼ cup finely minced yellow onion
· 2 cloves garlic, minced
· 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
· 1 teaspoon dried parsley
· ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
· ½ teaspoon black pepper
· 1 teaspoon sea salt
For the Glaze:
· 1 cup ketchup
· ½ cup grape jelly (traditional) or apricot preserves
· 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
· 1 tablespoon soy sauce
· 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
· 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
· ½ teaspoon garlic powder
· Optional: 1 tablespoon brown sugar for added caramelization
