SAVORY CHINESE-STYLE GROUND BEEF & CABBAGE SKILLET
. Brown the Beef:
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain any excess fat if needed.
. Add Aromatics:
Stir in garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
Add cabbage and carrots to the skillet. Toss well and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes until just tender but still crisp.
. Season:
Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and hoisin sauce if using. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
Season with crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
. Garnish & Serve:
Remove from heat. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over the top.
Serve hot with steamed rice, noodles, or as a low-carb bowl.
