Roast Pork

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (about 350°F) so it’s nice and hot when the meat goes in.

  2. Take the pork roast and rub it all over with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds—this gives it its great flavor.

  3. Heat some oil in a large pan and sear the meat on all sides until it has a nice golden-brown crust.

  4. Meanwhile, dice the onion and add it to the pan with the meat.

  5. Pour in the broth, then place the entire pan (including the liquid) in the oven.

  6. Let the pork roast cook for 1.5 to 2 hours, until it’s cooked through and tender. Baste it occasionally with the pan juices to keep it moist.

  7. Take the meat out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

  8. Strain the pan juices through a sieve and, if desired, thicken the sauce slightly.

  9. Slice the roast pork and serve it with the delicious sauce. Enjoy your meal!
