Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven to 180°C (about 350°F) so it’s nice and hot when the meat goes in.
 -
Take the pork roast and rub it all over with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds—this gives it its great flavor.
 -
Heat some oil in a large pan and sear the meat on all sides until it has a nice golden-brown crust.
 -
Meanwhile, dice the onion and add it to the pan with the meat.
 -
Pour in the broth, then place the entire pan (including the liquid) in the oven.
 -
Let the pork roast cook for 1.5 to 2 hours, until it’s cooked through and tender. Baste it occasionally with the pan juices to keep it moist.
 -
Take the meat out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
 -
Strain the pan juices through a sieve and, if desired, thicken the sauce slightly.
 -
Slice the roast pork and serve it with the delicious sauce. Enjoy your meal!
