Rice Cake 

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter (4 cups) of whole milk

  • 180 g (about ¾ cup) of rice (short-grain or Arborio type)

  • 150 g (¾ cup) of sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 packet of vanilla powder (or 1 vanilla bean)

  • Grated zest of 1 lemon

  • A pinch of salt

  • Butter and breadcrumbs, as needed, for the baking pan
