Instructions
- 
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). 
 Line a springform pan with parchment paper and grease the edges.
- 
Make the batter: 
 Mix the flour and baking powder.
 Beat together all ingredients for the batter until creamy.
 Pour into the prepared springform and bake for 20 minutes.
- 
Prepare the almond topping while the cake bakes: 
 In a saucepan, combine sugar, cream, butter, and honey. Bring to a boil.
 Once the sugar has melted, stir in the sliced almonds.
 Spread the almond mixture evenly over the cake and bake for another 10–15 minutes until golden.
- 
Cool the cake: 
 Let the cake cool on a wire rack, then carefully slice it horizontally in half.
- 
Prepare the filling: 
 Whip the Paradiescreme with the cream according to the packet instructions.
 Spread the cream onto the bottom half of the cake and place the almond top layer back on.
Optional: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Tip: Chill before slicing for cleaner layers.
