Normally, potatoes are planted between early April and mid-May. You can follow this schedule if you plan to place your planted buckets outdoors. However, if you want to grow potatoes indoors, you don’t need to stick to the planting season. You can start growing them at any time and even harvest several times a year.
You will need for garden, balcony, or home:
- Mature, undamaged seed potatoes
- A bucket (at least 10 liters in capacity)
- Pottery shards, expanded clay, or gravel
- Potting soil
- Compost soil
