Directions:

5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
6. Fold in mini chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
9. While the bread cools in the pan for 10 minutes, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth.
10. Remove the bread from the pan and transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle the peppermint glaze over the top. Let bread cool completely before slicing.
