Caramelize the onions:
Heat butter in a skillet and cook onions on medium-low for 10–15 minutes until soft and golden.
Make the patties:
Mix ground beef, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 thin patties.
Cook in a skillet until browned and fully cooked.
Prepare the sauce:
Stir together mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Assemble the melts:
Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
Layer cheese, cooked patty, onions, and sauce.
Top with more cheese and bread.
Grill to perfection:
Cook sandwiches in a skillet on medium heat until the bread is crispy and the cheese has melted.
