Preparation

Prepare the orange
Wash the orange very well and cut it into pieces. Remove all the seeds. -
Blend the wet ingredients
Place in a blender:

the eggs
-
the orange pieces
-
the sugar
-
the oil
-
the milk
Blend for about 1 minute until everything is well blended and smooth.

Add the dry ingredients
Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix gently until everything is combined. -
Pour into the pan
Pour the batter into a buttered and floured baking pan. -
Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. -
Cool
Let the cake cool before removing it from the pan.

Round pan: 20–22 cm (8–9 inches)
Tip to Make It Amazing
When the cake comes out of the oven, mix:

60 ml orange juice
-
25 g sugar
Brush this mixture over the hot cake.
This will make it more moist, shiny, and full of orange flavor. 🍊🍰
