Prepare the chicken:

Remove the skin from the chicken thighs and debone them.

Cut the meat into small pieces and place in a large bowl.

Add 1 tsp salt, 1.5 tsp grill seasoning, ⅓ tsp black pepper, 2 tsp cornstarch, and 20 ml vegetable oil.

Mix everything well with a spoon.

Let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes.

Prepare the potatoes:

Peel and slice the potatoes.

Place in a bowl and season with salt, potato seasoning, ⅓ tsp black pepper, and a sprinkle of dried dill.

Mix well.

Bake the potatoes:

Spread the seasoned potatoes on the bottom of a baking tray.

Drizzle with vegetable oil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes.

Marinate the onions:

Slice the onions into half rings.

Place in a bowl, sprinkle with black pepper, and pour over 6% vinegar.

Let sit for 30 minutes.

Cook the chicken:

Heat a skillet with oil on high heat.

Fry the marinated chicken pieces for 5 minutes on one side.

Flip and fry for another 5 minutes.

Flip again and cook on low heat until done.

Assemble the dish:

Add the cooked chicken on top of the roasted potatoes in the baking dish.

Layer the marinated onions on top.

Sprinkle with grated cheese.

Final bake:

Return to the oven at 180°C (350°F) and bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
