No-Bake Strawberry Shortcake Dessert

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest, and mix until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  3. In a serving dish, layer the shortcake cookies at the bottom.
  4. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture on top of the cookies.
  5. Arrange a layer of sliced strawberries on top of the cream mixture.
  6. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the dish, ending with a final layer of strawberries.
  7. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
