Instructions
1. Prepare the Lobster Filling
In a medium bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery, and chives.
Gently fold everything together until the lobster is evenly coated.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Avoid overmixing—keep the chunks of lobster intact.
Optional: sprinkle a pinch of smoked paprika or Old Bay for a subtle spice kick.
2. Toast the Buns
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Spread the softened butter evenly on the outside of each split-top bun.
Place buns buttered-side down on the skillet and toast until golden brown and slightly crisp (about 2–3 minutes).
3. Assemble the Lobster Rolls
Remove buns from heat and let cool slightly.
Gently spoon the lobster filling into each bun, filling generously but without spilling over.
Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
4. Optional Garnishes
Serve with lemon wedges for an extra citrusy brightness.
Pair with potato chips, coleslaw, or fries for a classic East Coast experience.
Enjoy your summery, buttery, and indulgent lobster rolls!
