Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling:

    • Soak the raisins in a little rum to enhance their flavor.

    • Peel and dice the apples.

    • Add the soaked raisins, sugar, and cinnamon to the apples and heat in a pan until all the liquid evaporates.

  2. Prepare the Batter:

    • Beat the eggs with the sugar until fluffy.

    • Add the oil and milk and mix well.

    • Sift in the flour and baking powder and gently fold into the batter.

  3. Assemble the Cake:

    • Grease the baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.

    • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
